The North American Mission Board has identified North Atlanta/Buckhead as an area of great gospel need. Johnson Ferry Baptist Church of Marietta has taken on the responsibility of helping to plant a new church in this area and we would love for you to be a part of this new work.
We believe that the gospel changes everything and so in everything we do we want the gospel to be central. We want to be a church of gospel clarity in a world of competing world views. We also want to train our people to be gospel fluent, equipped to take the power of the gospel with them wherever they go.
The power of the gospel not only calls us out of sin and darkness into light and life, it also calls us into a community, a never ending community of joy, love, and peace. Therefore, we want our church to understand our commitment to one another as a Kingdom family. We also want our church to understand our role in the broader culture as Kingdom Ambassadors.
The power of the gospel doesn’t just transform our lives, it doesn’t just call us to be a part of an eternal Kingdom family, but it also sends us out on mission. Therefore we want our church to be ever faithful to the Great Commandment wherein the church is commanded to love God and to love our neighbor. As well as take up our calling of the Great Commission, making disciples in our neighborhood, in our city, in our nation, and throughout the world.
